This Cookie Policy describes the cookies, local storage, session storage and optional external services currently used on Casal dei Fichi (casaldeifichi.it). It is written to match the website's current implementation rather than listing advertising or analytics technologies that are not in use.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text values stored by your browser. The website also uses limited browser local storage and session storage. Under Italian cookie rules, storage that is strictly necessary to transmit a communication or provide a service requested by the user can be used without consent. Non-necessary storage or tracking is disabled until the appropriate choice has been made.
2. Your choices
On a first visit (or when the stored choice expires or the optional-service setup changes materially), the privacy notice lets you:
- Continue without optional: only strictly necessary / exempt storage remains active;
- Choose services: you can enable Google Translate, Google Fonts and live Google reviews separately;
- Allow optional: all currently listed optional services may load.
Closing the first-layer notice with the × has the same effect as “Continue without optional”: the default settings remain in place and optional services stay off.
Your choice is stored for 185 days, so the notice is not repeatedly shown on every visit. It may be shown again sooner if the optional-service setup changes materially or the previous choice can no longer be read. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using in the footer.

Names with a suffix or dynamic part may vary by browser session or website version. We classify a technology by what it does, not merely by its name.
4. Optional services — off by default
The services below do not load until the corresponding switch has been enabled in the privacy choices panel.

Google controls its own provider-side processing and may change its technical identifiers independently of this website. For that reason, Casal dei Fichi blocks the optional service itself until the relevant choice is enabled.
5. Other third-party technical requests
Some pages use technical resources that are not used by Casal dei Fichi for advertising profiling, including CDN-hosted Bootstrap/Leaflet files, map tiles and weather data. Depending on the page or feature, this can result in an ordinary network request (including your IP address) to providers such as jsDelivr, unpkg, Esri/CARTO/OpenStreetMap-related infrastructure and Open-Meteo. These requests are described in our Privacy Policy. They are not treated as permission to install advertising or profiling cookies.
6. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can reopen the privacy panel at any time using in the footer. If you switch off a service that had already loaded, the page reloads so the withdrawn choice can be applied cleanly on the new page load.
You can also delete or block cookies and website storage through your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may make forms, sessions or other requested functions less reliable.
7. How the consent record works
The website records the consent version, the optional services you enabled or disabled, and a timestamp in first-party storage. This record is not used for advertising. The website asks again after 185 days, or sooner where the stored choice can no longer be read or the optional-service setup changes materially.
8. Updates and contact
We update this policy when the website's storage or external services change. If analytics, advertising or another non-necessary technology is added in the future, the policy and consent mechanism must be updated before that technology is enabled.
