The landscape around Casal dei Fichi is extraordinary. One of our favourite sights is the beautiful Monti Sibillini, which we saw covered in snow soon after buying Casal dei Fichi.
On clear days in February, the snow-capped peaks stand out beautifully on the horizon. We feel very fortunate to live in Francavilla d'Ete, with the Adriatic coast about 27 km away and the mountains about 37 km away. Having both the sea and the mountains within easy reach is one of the things we love most about this area.
