This spacious apartment for 2-4 people is named after Matteo Ricci, the 16th-century Jesuit priest, scientist and cartographer from nearby Macerata, who spent most of his life in Beijing as a Chinese scholar and court mathematician. In the living area there is a comfortable sitting room with a spacious sofa bed and a traditional fireplace, connected through a beautiful brick arch to the large kitchen and dining room with a dining table. A spiral staircase leads from the dining room to the bedroom with its own private bathroom.
The front door of Ricci opens onto a private garden with plenty of space to relax and dine. This leads to a large lawn with a magnificent walnut tree and mature fig trees that provide pleasant shade on warm summer days.
